Grandson of Capt. George Cleveland from my ma Enukpauyak's side; and of Capt. George Comer from my pa Pameolik's side.
Biological son of David and Hattie Alagalak. Alagalak is one of Pameolik and Enukpauyaks boys :)
I have a fairly good handle on Pameolik's upbringing; but get rather lost when i think about Enukpauyaks upbringing. I've heard of Angutingmagik and Pameolik traveling to "pick up" Enukpauyak. Awa was born already. It could have beeen as far as Pond Inlet.
I met my mothers' biological sister in Repulse; she was a splitting image of Enukpauyak. I cried. My Ma had passed away by that time.
Thanks very much for the site.

Was curious about the Mr. Bumpus who accompanied George Cleveland to Cape Fullerton 1913. The noted biologist, Hermon C. Bumpus (Sr, 1862-1943) was Director of the American Museum of Natural History, New York, and well-known to George Comer during his voyages to Cape Fullerton & collections for the Museum. Thought perhaps H.C. Bumpus, Jr (b. 1888) and a student at Columbia University in 1910 & 1911 might be the mysterious Mr. Bumpus. The younger Mr. Bumpus has a passport application (1910) on Ancestry.com -- signed by George Comer, East Haddam, CT as witness! Congratulations on a great website!
